MantleOS Desktop.

The everyday tools in one app: chat, mail, calendar, tasks, notes, a journal, pages, tables, files, drawings, formulas, contacts and small apps you build. Use it at home, or across a whole company.

Behind it sits the brain, which remembers everything you put in. Ask it anything, and the answer comes from your own material. A farm, a refinery, a church office: most work runs on these same tools, so it fits almost any trade.

the parts

The parts, up close

Every pane is a real tool, not a text box with a name on it. Four worth a closer look, then the rest.

  1. 01

    Pages

Long documents with callouts, columns, tables, checklists, code, maths and diagrams. You write in a private draft and commit it when it is ready. Only then does the brain read it.

  2. 02

    Tables

Workbooks with tabs, typed columns, formula columns and links between tabs. Ask a question and the assistant queries the table directly, so ten thousand rows are as easy to ask about as ten.

  3. 03

    Formulas

Save a calculation once, with its branches, lookup tables and units. Every result shows how it got there, step by step. A missing input stops it with an error, never a quiet zero.

  4. 04

    Apps

Describe a tool you need. The assistant writes it, builds it, fixes its own mistakes and shows you a live preview. Each app keeps its own data and runs walled off from the rest.

and 25 more

Notes
Quick capture in markdown. Each note is summarised and mined for facts when you save it.
Journal
Who you are, what you are working on, what you prefer and where you are headed. Every agent reads it before it answers.
Tasks
Status, priority and due date. The assistant can manage them too.
Calendar
Start, end, place and repeats. Reminders reach you on Telegram or in the phone app.
Contacts
The gate for mail, both ways: whose mail gets read in, and who the assistant may write to.
Drawings
A hand-drawn style whiteboard for sketches and diagrams. Export to SVG or PDF.
Access levels
Every folder has one of four: Admin, Team, Client or Public. Staff, clients and the public each see their own part.
Recall maps
Write down how your work is done, one card per rule. Agents read the map before they act.
API keys
Give a script or an MCP tool its own key: read only or read and write, for the areas you pick, with an expiry.
Secrets
A sealed vault. Titles and tags are searchable. The values stay sealed, and no model can read one back.
Formatted replies
Answers come back as documents, with headings, tables, checklists and diagrams. Save any reply as a page.
Voice and attachments
Speak into the composer, or attach images, PDFs, documents and spreadsheets to a question.
Careful edits
The assistant can rewrite one paragraph of a page and leave the rest alone.
Review changes
See exactly what a commit will publish, block by block, and undo any part of it.
Sub-pages
Ask the assistant to split a long page at its headings into child pages.
Mentions
Mention a person or a document with @ and it becomes a real link, with backlinks.
Markdown in and out
Switch a page to plain markdown and back. Paste markdown, even a Notion export, and it becomes real blocks.
Export
Pages and notes to Word, PDF or markdown. Tables to Excel with a totals row, or CSV.
Search
Press Command-K to search the whole brain and jump anywhere.
Links to anything
Every item has its own link, and it opens on the screen that shows it.
Live screens
New mail or a new file shows up the moment it lands. No refresh.
Desktop app
Linux, macOS and Windows, with notifications and deep links. Keep several brains, each in its own window.
Phone app
Talk to the assistant, dictate a journal entry, send in photos and files, and get your reminders. Admin logins for now.
Themes
Forty-three palettes, light and dark, every pair contrast-checked before it ships.
The guide inside
Switch on the user guide and the brain reads it too, so the assistant can explain the app and show where it read it.
